Draper Temple Open House

We took Amity, Andria, and James to the Draper Temple Open house last night, and they were all little angels. The temple is beautiful, and even little James kept saying how much he loved the temple, and how pretty everything was. We rode very crowded buses, Lani and I had to stand, to and from the temple, but the crowded ride was worth the tour. When we were in the sealing room, a nice brother and sister were asked to talk a little to the group. When the brother asked if the tour had been long, most everyone shook their head no or said no, except Amity of course, she said "Yes it has been long," everyone laughed and the kind brother promised her the best cookies ever at the end of the tour. We arrived at the ward house at 6:30 pm and we returned from the temple at 8:30 pm. I still can't believe how well behaved the children were. We then went out and bought the kids breakfast at IHOP. I hope this trip will impact them, that even at their tender ages they will remember the peace and beauty of the temple, and have a desire to return. Thank you Heavenly Father for giving us the opportunity to have temples on earth, a place where we can get a very brief glimpse of Heaven.
