KI'S GRADUATION LUAU, SATURDAY, JUNE 20TH, 2009, ROHNERT PARK, CALIFORNIA.
The boys with Lani at the Luau. Good Food, Great Entertainment, and Wonderful Conversation made this the best ever Luau. At the end of this post is an adorable video of the littlest Tahitian Dancer I've ever seen, she is only 4 and so poised and talented already. Below are several pictures, but not of the entertainers, as my camera battery ran out, and Lani did video of the dancers. Alicia and her family did an excellent job with this Luau. We feel so blessed to have been able to attend, visit with family and friends, and to partake of such a wonderful celebration. Ki is now graduated, and she is already attending college and planning on becoming a dental hygenist. And she will do it too.
This is our niece, Lani's brother Jimmy's daughter Naomi and her daughter Bri, they came from Wyoming for the Luau and Reunion. I was happy to finally meet her, and looking forward to her wedding in Sept., when her fiance returns from Iraq where he is serving in the military. Bri is such a beautiful little girl, and so polite and happy!
Above is Tracy, and below is her husband Jimmy, Lani's brother. Tracy dances, and she danced with all the Aunties, as Auntie Faith played her Uke and sang. They were all so graceful, Alicia and Laura also danced with the Aunties. So talented. Jimmy, Lono, and Panihau also danced, they were very entertaining also. Lono is another brother, and he was also the Emcee. Jimmy, Tracy and Lono and his family all came from Arizona to attend.
This is Kiana, Lono's daughter. Isn't she beautiful! And so talented. She used to dance Jazz, so it was no issue for her to learn six dances, including a Tahitian for the luau in only about a week. She is going into 8th grade, gets straight As, and is the Beehive leader in Young Womens. She is tall, graceful and I am so proud of her. Great going Kiana... Just wait til' your graduation Luau!! I love all my nieces and nephews..

Lani's sister Laura, who came all the way from Hawaii with her husband, Robbie. She danced with the Aunties. She is very graceful and so talented. It was so nice seeing Laura and Robbie, we hadn't seen them since the last Luau in 2005.
Here are all of Alicia's children who were at the Luau. Ki, the graduate is to the right, and Stina her big sister to the left. Stina, (Kristina Leilani) worked so hard for all this, she is a wonderful sister. Alicia has such beautiful daughters, and her sons are bad either. The little one next to Ki, is actually a grandson. We love you all!
This is Lani's brother Bobby, with his granddaughter Madison. Isn't she cute!! And what a personality already. Can you tell how proud Grandpa is? Several people were confusing Bobby and Lani, I can tell a difference, but even one of Bobby's employees mistook Lani for him. During the Luau he walked up to Lani, Lani stood up as he was putting out his hand and when Lani stood up the employee says, "Robert?" and Lani said, "I am Lani, Robert is my brother" and the man laughed and said "He is my boss!" 
Here is Mom, enjoying all the Ohana. She turns 80 next year, and I am sure there will be another Luau then. 
The food was great, just look at Billy eating, and later you will see the other boys eating. I couldn't pick a favorite, it was all so good.

Alicia with her pretty lei. The first picture she didn't smile, so I said smile, and she said "Oh I thought you only wanted a picture of my lei", no way, I love you Alicia. Alicia is Lani's little sister, and Ki's mother. She put in so much work for this Luau, and she is so talented. I am in such AWE of all she does. Thanks Alicia, loved the Luau!!!!! Now enjoy this video of this little Tahitian Dancer, Siana, you will love her..
