Today in Sunday School we discussed the creation of the earth, and so many things clicked. First that our Father in Heaven has created this earth for us, as the earth was organized from matter for our use. He created this world, the way it is for us. He speaks and matter organizes, How can we not know His love when we look at how perfect this earth is, how our bodies work so perfectly and how the whole concept of reproduction!
I always knew His time is not the same as ours, but scriptures shows one of His days is around 1000 of our years. So one of his hours is around 42 of our years.... When we get back to him, we will have only been gone for not much longer than an hour or two! See 2 Peter: 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Thank you Father in Heaven for such wonderful Sunday School teachers, Speakers in Sacrament, and Relief Society teachers. And a wonderful husband who helps me to learn all these things to better understand Your plan for all of us here on this earth. Otherwise, the tragedies we are seeing would seem so hopeless... I pray for those in Haiti, as I know the departed are with our Savior now..
