After determining that a trip to California was not going to fit our time restraint or our pocketbook, we decided to go see a little bit of Utah.
On Thursday, August
14, 2008, we went to Delta then down to Beaver, to Richfield and then to Manti, Fountain Green and over the Nebo Loop. There is not much after Delta to Beaver, a lot of desert, reminded us of the trip around Pahrump Nevada. But we always enjoy the trip up Highway 89 through Manti, and seeing that beautiful temple on the mountain. Since we had Angel we didn't stop much, until we got to the Nebo Loop. That was a wonderful surprise for us. We saw 5 deer that afternoon. We got home and rested for our trip on Friday.

This was at the south side entrance to Nebo Loop, where we began our trip. It was the highlight of today's trip. It was cool and we could open the windows and let the air through the car. This is Lani with Angel right before we started our way up the loop. We did not realize this beautiful drive was literally in our back yard, what a beautiful and wonderful surprise.
