The full moon was on one side of us and in the next picture you'll see the sun on the other...  I should have known what was about to happen when I saw this beautiful full moon.

The sun you can't see all of it.. but this is the land of the Midnight sun.. this was taken just after launching which was at Midnight... it dipped a little behind the horizon and came right back up...

The main reason I wanted to go to Maniilaq hospital in Kotzubue, the radio room... the doctors can see via video patients in all the villages and can diagnose them from this room... very interesting

Our King Air we flew to Point Hope, AK.... a very small village to pick up a newborn baby who was very tiny... this was an adventure to be left in Kotzebue when they had to take a second patient...

Since I had to wait for a plane back to Fairbanks, I stayed in our base quarters.. these flowers were growing right outside.

Two dog sleds stored for the summer under the house... Houses in Kotzebue are built on stilts due to the permafrost..

The ocean view from the crew quarters I stayed at in Kotzebue.. They flew me home commercial the next day.  I was to stay with the jet and then go to Anchorage and then back to Fairbanks, but the jet had too many passengers after we arrived at the hospital and they had a second patient.  So I stayed in Kotzebue and missed the last day of class.. and took a medevac to Point Hope... Thanks to all who where there to take care of me... I don't have a picture to down load of Brian, but he is the base manager and made sure I was taken care of too... Mom and baby are doing fine that we brought into Maniilaq hospital from Point Hope... I was blessed to observe what I did while in Alaska training..
